Meghan Shinn

Meghan Shinn is a seasoned editor with extensive experience in horticulture publishing. Currently serving as Editor of Horticulture Magazine at Active Interest Media since July 2019, Meghan leads the production of six annual print issues, collaborating with the Editorial Director to develop themes and assigning features to freelance writers. Meghan's editorial journey began in 2003 with an internship at Horticulture Magazine, progressing to roles as Editorial Assistant and Managing Editor until 2008, when a continued focus on horticulture editing took shape at F+W Media, Inc. Meghan holds an MFA in Writing from Emerson College and a BA in Creative Writing from Hamilton College.
