Jon-Luke Diericks

Jon-Luke Diericks has a diverse range of work experience in the field of web development. Jon-Luke has worked as a Frontend Developer at Equisolve, Inc. since August 2021, where they are responsible for building engaging and accessible investor relation sites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Jon-Luke collaborates with designers and other developers to implement user interface designs, ensures that web applications are optimized for speed and scalability, and writes clean and well-documented code.

Prior to their current role, Jon-Luke worked as a freelance web developer at The West Brothers since July 2014. In this position, they developed custom web applications using frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript frameworks. Jon-Luke collaborated with clients to understand their unique needs and developed solutions that met those needs. Jon-Luke also achieved success in developing and launching custom web applications for clients in various industries and implementing accessibility features to improve user experience.

Before their freelance work, Jon-Luke gained experience as a Jr. Front-End Web Developer at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) from November 2018 to August 2021. Jon-Luke also worked as a Web Developer at SOGO Marketing from March 2016 to November 2018, where they led client projects, designed and built websites and small applications, and worked with WordPress and JavaScript frameworks like Vue.

Jon-Luke's earlier work experience includes a brief role as a Customer Service Representative at First Transit in 2014, a role as a Crew member at H&R Block from 2012 to 2013, and a role as part of the Cleaning Crew at Kleenworks from 2008 to 2011.

Jon-Luke Diericks has a diverse education history. In 2010, they began their studies at Joliet Junior College, where they focused on computer and network security, specifically in the field of cyber/computer forensics and counterterrorism. Jon-Luke completed their program in 2016 and then pursued further education in the field of web development. From 2016 to 2017, Jon-Luke attended freeCodeCamp, where they earned a Full Stack Web Development Certification, specializing in computer software engineering.

In 2017, they also completed a TESOL (Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor) program at International Open Academy. This certification would enhance their ability to teach English effectively to non-native speakers.

Additionally, Jon-Luke has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2021, they earned certifications in UX design, specifically in analyzing user data and creating personas, from LinkedIn. In 2020, they completed a course on Learning npm, the Node Package Manager, also from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in 2017, they obtained a 120 Hour TESOL certification from ICOES (International Council for Online Educational Standards).
