Angela Martin

Angela Martin is a seasoned professional with significant experience in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and operations, currently serving as the Head of ESG Strategy and Operations as well as the Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Equitable since May 2018. In this role, Angela oversees the development of a multi-year DEI strategy aimed at enhancing representation, culture, and employee engagement, while leading initiatives for diversity recruitment and corporate positioning on DEI matters. Prior to Equitable, Angela was the Chief of Staff to the Chief Human Resources Officer at AXA US from May 2010 to May 2018, where responsibilities included strategic project support, budget management, and KPI development. Earlier career roles included various positions at Worldwide Asset Management Group, LLC, starting as a Compliance Associate. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Adelphi University, earned between 2006 and 2009.
