Christian Cannon

Christian Cannon is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the financial industry. Currently serving as Lead Director and Associate General Counsel at Equitable since May 2017, Christian has fortified expertise in regulatory compliance and market regulation. Prior to this role, Christian held the position of Senior Counsel in Market Regulation at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority from September 2011 to May 2017. Earlier in the career, Christian was an Associate at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP from February 2004 to September 2011. Christian holds a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Utah.
