Daniel E. Cochran, FSA, currently serves as Senior Director at Equitable, where responsibilities include overseeing Annuity GAAP Valuation and leading initiatives for GAAP material weakness remediation and Venerable reinsurance transaction readiness. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as Senior Actuary in US Reserving at SCOR, focusing on statutory and tax reserves, and improving efficiency through data warehousing. Experience also includes serving as AVP at The Phoenix Companies, leading internal audit efforts, and a decade at Voya Financial, where Daniel excelled in performance and leadership development of actuarial teams. Daniel began an actuarial career at Nationwide Provident with roles in valuation and modeling after earning a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Ball State University.
