Evan Scarponi

Evan Scarponi is an experienced leader in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Head of Claims for Employee Benefits at Equitable since April 2024, where responsibilities include leading operational strategy and execution for the claims organization. Prior to this role, Evan spent nearly 20 years at Prudential Financial, culminating as Vice President & Chief Claims Officer, overseeing a large team within the Group Insurance business. Evan's career in claims also includes various leadership positions at Prudential, focusing on Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability claims operations, and process management. Earlier experience includes a role as a Disability Benefits Specialist at Unum. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Northeastern University and an MBA from the University of Southern Maine - School of Business.
