Gary Osterhout

Gary Osterhout is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in life insurance modeling and financial analysis. Currently serving as Projections Team Lead at Equitable since January 2020, Gary oversees a team that conducts asset adequacy analysis and supports financial planning. Prior to this, Gary held the position of Senior Director at both Equitable and AXA US, leading life model development initiatives that significantly improved model run efficiency. Previous roles include Director and Actuary positions at Prudential Financial and Lincoln Financial Group, where Gary managed reserve calculations and valuation processes. Gary began an actuarial career at Farm Family Insurance after earning a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University at Albany.
