Maggie Carter

Maggie Carter is Head of Internal Audit for Equitable and a member of the company’s Operating Committee. In this role, she is responsible for providing assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes across the enterprise.

Since joining Equitable in 2006, Ms. Carter has held a variety of roles across the company in the business lines, strategy, and risk management. Ms. Carter previously served as the company’s Head of Enterprise Risk Management, where she led risk oversight for product and insurance risk, operational and IT risk and third-party risk and privacy.

Ms. Carter received a Bachelor of Arts in economics with distinction from the University of Virginia. She holds the Series 6 and Series 63 licenses.
