Mark Berkowsky

Mark Berkowsky is an experienced talent acquisition and human resources professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of Recruiting & Onboarding at Equitable since February 2014, Mark leads corporate recruiting initiatives and oversees the relationship with the RPO partner, Randstad. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Director of Talent Management at The New York Public Library from September 2008 to January 2014, where responsibilities included recruiting, learning and development, and human resources functions, as well as playing a key role in the implementation of Workday HCM. Mark's earlier experience includes serving as the North American Talent Acquisition Leader for Hewitt Associates from May 2000 to July 2008, managing a virtual team and being accountable for recruitment across all practice areas in the US and Canada. Mark holds a BA in Psychology from Denison University.
