Rajendra Samant

Rajendra Samant is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management and analytics. Currently serving as the Director of Data Management and Analytics at Equitable since October 2018, Rajendra has significantly improved quarterly close operations by over 50% through the development of critical data products. Prior to this role, Rajendra held positions at Cognizant Technology Solutions as Principal Architect, where key contributions included leading big data engineering projects and defining data strategy, and at Optra Technologies as Program Manager, where technical leadership was provided in big data solutions. Additional experience encompasses senior roles at Xoriant Corporation, Tech Mahindra, and Indecca Technologies, along with early career work at Cisco Systems. Rajendra holds a BE in Computer Science/Electronics from the University of Mumbai.
