Rihao Kang, FSA, FCIA, is the Head of GMXB Modeling at Equitable, currently engaged in economic scenarios for GOES. Previously, they served as an Associate Director at RBC Insurance, where they led IFRS 17 pricing transition for various insurance products. Their career at RBC also included a role as Director & Actuary focused on new business pricing for living benefit and wealth products. Prior to that, Rihao held various positions at Manulife, contributing to product development and pricing strategies in individual life insurance. They are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
