Robbin Hu, FSA, MAAA, currently serves as Director of GAAP Valuation at Equitable since July 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Associate Actuary at Transamerica from June 2015 to June 2019, where responsibilities encompassed UL Valuation & Modeling and LTC Valuation under US GAAP. From December 2010 to May 2015, Robbin held the position of Senior Actuarial Analyst at Sun Life Financial, focusing on Variable Annuity Modeling and Individual Non-Par Traditional Life and Health Valuation in CGAAP. Robbin completed a Master of Mathematics in Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo in 2009 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Actuarial Science at Simon Fraser University in 2008.
