Shelley Hunt

Shelley Hunt serves as the Tax Director at Equitable since August 2020, bringing extensive experience in tax management from prior roles, including Tax Manager at Brighthouse Financial from October 2017 to August 2020 and Senior Corporate Tax Accountant at TIAA between January 2016 and October 2017. Previously, Shelley held positions at Grant Thornton LLP from January 2010 to January 2016, where roles included Tax Manager and Senior Associate in National Tax Strategic Solutions. Shelley’s career began at KPMG as a Tax Associate from September 2008 to December 2009. Educationally, Shelley earned a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the College of Charleston, completing studies in 2008 and 2007, respectively.
