Chihao Tey

Chihao Tey has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Chihao'smost recent role was as a Vice President in Investment Banking at Equiteq, a position they began in July 2021. Prior to that, they were a Senior Vice President in Private Equity at Regulus Capital from March to June 2021. From July 2018 to March 2021, Chihao worked as a Senior Associate in M&A and Capital Markets Advisory at KPMG Singapore. Before that, they worked as a Private Tutor at UniversityTutor from 2017 to 2021. In 2016, Chihao held the position of Associate in Corporate Finance at ZJ Advisory Sdn Bhd, where they were involved in various corporate finance activities such as IPOs, M&A, and project financing. Chihao began their career as a Personal Banker at United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) from December 2014 to September 2015.

Chihao Tey began their education journey in 2010 when they attended Taylor's College, where they pursued a degree in South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with a focus on Actuarial Science/ Business. After completing their studies at Taylor's College in the same year, they went on to enroll at Sunway University in 2011. At Sunway University, Chihao pursued a Bachelor of Business in Banking & Finance/ Financial Risk Management, in collaboration with Victoria University. Chihao completed their undergraduate degree in 2014.

In terms of further education, Chihao obtained several certifications and additional qualifications. In 2014, they received the Capital Market and Financial Advisory Services Representative's License from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). In 2015, they obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP. In 2016, they became a Capital Markets Services Representative's License holder from the Securities Commission Malaysia. Additionally, Chihao pursued the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, earning this prestigious credential in 2019.

In recent years, Chihao has continued to expand their knowledge and skills in the finance field. In 2020, they furthered their education by attending the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI), where they completed a program in Financial Modeling & Valuation Analysis. Chihao also acquired certifications from the Edge Academy, affiliated with The Trade Desk, in Data-Driven Planning and Marketing Foundations in the same year. Most recently, in 2021, Chihao completed two more certifications through the CFI: Leverage Buyout LBO Modeling and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Modeling.
