Liam Afonso

Liam Afonso is a lifelong creative storyteller currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Equiti, a leading healthcare technology company. They previously held positions as Creative Director at Delphic Research and Voyce, where they focused on improving communication and access to vital services. As the Owner of Afonso Creative from 2015 to 2021, they specialized in photography and filmmaking. Liam also contributed to The Globe and Mail as a freelance reporter and served as Editor-in-Chief for The Western Gazette, where they led a large team and received notable accolades for their work. They are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Honours Specialization Media, Information, & Technoculture at Western University.
