Mike Bubnis

Mike Bubnis has over 20 years of experience in the investment industry. Mike is currently working as the Director of Investments at EquiTrust Life Insurance Company, where they manage the FIA portfolio hedging program and implements investment strategies. Prior to this, they held various roles at Sentinel Investments, LLC, including Head of Insurance Investment Solutions, Head of Investment Strategy, and Managing Director of Fixed Income. In these positions, they worked on creating investment solutions, developing investment strategies, and managing portfolio operations. Mike has also worked at Reinsurance Group of America as a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, where they were responsible for managing portfolios, conducting due diligence, and implementing investment strategies. Earlier in their career, they worked at Allstate Investments, LLC as a Portfolio Manager and Trader, as well as at American General Investment Management and Conning Asset Management in various roles related to trading and analyzing fixed income and asset-backed securities.

Mike Bubnis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Computer Science from Elizabethtown College in the years 1988-1992. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School from 1994-1996.
