Will Duckett

Will Duckett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Will is currently the COO & Co-Founder of Equity Shift, where they develop software to simplify capital raising and manage securities ownership. Will is also a Member of the Open Cap Table Coalition, a collective aimed at improving the transparency and portability of capitalization data.

In addition, Will is a Member of the Operators Guild, a community of business operators focused on scaling and growth. Previously, they worked at Peter Millar as the Head of Strategic Initiatives, where they implemented operational efficiencies and coordinated cross-functional initiatives.

Before that, Will held multiple roles at PlotWatt, including Vice President of Operations and Director of Business Development. At PlotWatt, they led teams to deliver energy-saving software solutions to enterprise customers.

Earlier in their career, Will was an MBA Consultant at TeachBoost, driving process improvements and orchestrating successful sales campaigns. Will also worked at Forester Capital, where they maintained client relationships and handled external communications.

Will began their career as a Summer Intern at Cross Cultural Solutions, where they taught and developed educational practices in a rural school in Himalayan India.

Will Duckett completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Columbia Business School from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Will attended High Point Central High School from 2002 to 2005 and earned an International Baccalaureate Degree. Will Duckett also holds several additional certifications in the field of securities, including the Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) certification obtained in March 2021, the General Securities Principal (Series 24) certification obtained in January 2021, the General Securities Representative (Series 7) certification obtained in September 2020, and the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification obtained in August 2020.
