David Yedlin

David Yedlin is an Associate Asset Manager with Ashkenazy Acquisition Corp, a privately held real estate investment firm. David has been with the company since January 2019 and their portfolio is valued at $12 billion and contains a mix of over 100 commercial assets located throughout the United States and Canada.

David's duties include modeling the company's portfolio of properties using ARGUS and excel to secure refinancing proceeds, highlight advantages of potential leasing scenarios, and assist annual budgeting process. David also prepares monthly variance analysis for 80 properties in New York, Washington DC, and California to draw attention to poor performing assets, explain budget discrepancies, and develop action plans for collecting unpaid rent. Additionally, David supervises a database of 75 loans totaling $2.2 billion to ensure compliance with loan covenants and negotiate workouts with lenders for properties underperforming due to Covid-19.

So far, David has been successful in repositioning a class B power center with a 70% occupancy into a class A anchored center occupied by investment grade tenants including Target, Marshalls, LA Fitness, and Burlington. David has also abstracted lease language to resolve correspondence with tenants concerning disputes, defaults, and estoppels.

David Yedlin has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Yeshiva University. David also has a minor in Mathematics and Business Analytics from Yeshiva University. In addition, they have taken an online course in Finance from Adkins Matchett & Toy (AMT). David has also taken a Religious Studies course from Yeshivat Sha`arei Mevaseret Zion. Lastly, they have taken a High School course in Introduction to Business, Finance, and Economics from Columbia Business School.
