Walter Tobin

Walter Tobin is the current CEO at ERA. Walter has over 40 years of experience in the electronics industry, holding various positions such as corporate vice president, executive vice president, and area vice president.

Tobin's first job in the electronics industry was as a sales manager at Cramer Electronics. Walter then moved on to Arrow Electronics, where they became vice president. In 1988, they joined Lex/Schweber Elecgtronics as area vice president. Three years later, they joined Pioneer Standard Elect as SVP of marketing.

In 2003, Tobin became executive VP of the industrial division at Bell Microproducts. Two years later, they left Bell to join All American Semiconductor as corporate vice president of global accounts. In 2006, they joined Future Electronics as corporate vice president. During their time at Future Electronics, Tobin managed the Tier One EMS Channel Globally. Walter also had extensive global travel and interface with senior level suppliers.

Tobin has been with ERA since 2015. Walter is responsible for ERA's overall strategy and execution. Under their leadership, ERA has become one of the largest global electronics distributors.

Walter Tobin has a MBA in Marketing from Boston College Carroll School of Management and a BSBA in Marketing from Boston College.
