Pascal Hottinger

Pascal Hottinger is the Directeur général de l’agriculture, viticulture et affaires vétérinaires du canton de Vaud at the Etat de Vaud, where they focus on supporting local agricultural production and enhancing food sovereignty. Prior to this role, Pascal achieved significant milestones in the sustainability sector, including initiating Switzerland's first home recycling service and increasing recycling rates of aluminum coffee capsules. Their extensive experience also includes pivotal contributions to Nespresso, where they served as CEO, generating an additional CHF 170 million in turnover and driving the E-business share from 10% to 55%. A graduate of HEC Lausanne, Pascal has consistently championed innovative strategies and partnerships across various sectors, including food and beverage.
