Valérie Risse is currently the Responsable de l'Unité d'appui juridique at the Etat de Vaud since 2016. Previously, Valérie held the position of Greffière at the Ministère public arrondissement de Lausanne from 2002 to 2006 and served as a Juriste spécialiste at the Service de protection de la jeunesse / Etat de Vaud from 2006 to 2016. Valérie was also the Vice-présidente of the Fondation pour l'Animation Socioculturelle Lausannoise from 2011 to 2016. They earned a Licence de droit from the University of Lausanne and a Postgrade in Criminologie from the Institut de police scientifique et de criminologie. Additionally, Valérie obtained a Certificat ASFC en leadership from the Centre d'éducation permanente in 2016.
