Daniel Bos

Vice Chair Epidemiology

Daniel Bos is an accomplished academic and medical professional with extensive experience in epidemiology and vascular neurology. Currently serving as Associate Program Director at the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences since September 2024, Daniel Bos also holds significant positions at Erasmus MC as Vice Chair of Epidemiology, Associate Professor, and Epidemiologist B. With a PhD in Radiology/Epidemiology focused on atherosclerotic calcification, Daniel Bos has contributed to various roles including Senior Scientist and Methodologist for the Institutional Review Board at Erasmus MC. Additionally, Daniel Bos is a Guest Professor at KU Leuven and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. A previous Imaging Coordinator for BBMRI, Daniel Bos began the medical career as a physician at Het Doktershuis and has been involved in medical education as a physical examination instructor. Daniel Bos earned a Medical Doctorate from Erasmus University Rotterdam, an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology from NIHES, and a PhD in Medicine from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
