Erwin Ista is an Associate Professor of Nursing and Implementation Science at Erasmus MC, with extensive experience in pediatric and internal medicine nursing. From 2013 to 2020, they served as an Associate Professor in the Pediatric Surgery department at Erasmus MC-Sophia Children's Hospital and previously held roles as a Senior Researcher and Assistant Professor. Currently, they are a member of various editorial boards, including Implementation Science and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and contribute to ZonMw as a committee member. Erwin earned a PhD in Nursing Science from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MSc in Nursing Science from Utrecht University.
