Jasper Been

Jasper Been is a Consultant Neonatologist at Erasmus MC, where training in neonatology was completed. Previously, Been served as an Associate Professor and Associate Editor at npj Primary Care Respiratory Medicine, and held the position of Postdoc at Maastricht University while also engaged in paediatric residency. Been completed a PhD and residency at Maastricht UMC+, with a focus on perinatal development and respiratory outcomes in preterm infants. Additional experience includes roles as a Registrar in Neonatology at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, a visiting scholar at Stanford University, and various paediatric resident positions in the Netherlands. Jasper Been holds a cum laude MSc in Public Health - Epidemiology and an MD with distinction from Maastricht University.
