Lonneke Bode is a clinical microbiologist with extensive experience in the field of medical microbiology. Lonneke Bode completed a PhD at Erasmus MC, focusing on the prevention of healthcare-associated Staphylococcus aureus infections from September 2005 to March 2014. Following this, Lonneke Bode worked at UMC Utrecht as a resident in clinical microbiology and later as a clinical microbiologist from February 2014 to August 2016. Lonneke Bode holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universiteit Utrecht and a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences. Additionally, Lonneke Bode attained both a University Teaching Qualification and a Senior University Teaching Qualification from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
