Marcel Vis

Marcel Vis is an experienced privacy jurist currently working at Erasmus MC since August 2019. Prior to this, Marcel held the position of Functionaris Gegevensbescherming at Hoffelijk from July 2018 to July 2019 and worked as an Inspecteur/Medewerker Toezicht at the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch DPA) for a brief period in 2018. Earlier roles at Hoffelijk included functions as Specialist bedrijfsvoering, Junior Specialist Bedrijfsvoering, and Medewerker Examinering & Certificering from July 2015 to April 2018. Marcel also contributed as a bestuurslid at Rechtswinkel Rijnmond from February 2015 to February 2016. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Internet, Intellectual Property, and ICT from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2016-2018) and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Leiden University (2013-2016).
