Od van Ruler

Od van Ruler is a gastro-intestinal surgeon currently affiliated with both Erasmus MC and IJsselland Ziekenhuis, focusing on inflammatory bowel disease and benign pathology. They previously took on several key roles, including serving as Chairman of the Congress Committee for the Dutch Surgical Association in 2025, and held a colorectal fellowship at the Academic Medical Center from 2015 to 2016. Od completed their MD, PhD at the University of Amsterdam and has extensive experience in colorectal and laparoscopic surgery from prior positions at Tergooiziekenhuizen and Universitair Ziekenhuis Leuven. Their training also includes fellowships in minimal invasive surgery and proctology.
