Simone van Wezel

Simone van Wezel is currently employed as a Researchmedewerker Heelkunde at Erasmus MC since October 2023. Prior to this role, Simone served as a Research Coordinator in the Department of Anesthesiology at Amsterdam UMC from July 2021 to September 2023. Earlier experience includes positions as a Zorgconsulent at Cordaan and a Verzorgende IG at Aethon Zorgt B.V. In addition to professional roles in healthcare, Simone completed a Research Internship at SilverFit focusing on exergame balance training and held a research internship at Reade, working on gait adaptability therapy for stroke patients. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Human Movement Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Bewegingswetenschappen, both obtained from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by international studies in Malta.
