Steven Oosterling

Steven Oosterling is currently a colorectal and oncological surgeon at Spaarne Gasthuis and has been a surgeon and fellow in surgical oncology at Erasmus MC since 2012. Oosterling's expertise includes supervising the SELECT trial, a prospective multicenter randomized clinical trial involving elective colorectal cancer patients. Prior to these roles, Oosterling completed a PhD as a research fellow in surgical oncology at VU medisch centrum, where they authored a thesis on surgical trauma and intra-abdominal tumor development. Additionally, Oosterling trained as a surgical resident at Kennemer Gasthuis Haarlem from 2008 to 2011.
