Suzanne Pasmans is a Professor of Paediatric Dermatology at Erasmus MC, a position held since 2000. Pasmans has extensive experience as a dermatologist and immunologist, previously serving as Associate Professor and Head of Paediatric Dermatology/Allergology at UMC Utrecht from 2000 to July 2013. Early academic work includes a PhD candidacy at Sanquin Bloedvoorziening from 1990 to 1996 and a researcher role in molecular biology at Institut Curie in 1994-1995. Pasmans holds a specialist degree in dermatology/venereology from the University Medical Centre Utrecht (1995-2000), a PhD in Immunology and Allergology from the University of Amsterdam (1990-1995), and an MD cum laude from Leiden University (1982-1990). Education was initiated at Bernardinus College, Heerlen (1975-1982).
