Vivan Baggen

Vivan Baggen is a postdoctoral researcher in Intensive Care at Erasmus MC, focusing on the BIOMEXIC study related to extubation failure in ICU patients. They previously served as an AIOS Cardiologie and held various roles, including a Research Fellow at UMC Utrecht, where they worked on imaging for adult congenital heart disease. Vivan earned their MD, graduating cum laude from Utrecht University, and obtained a PhD in Medicine from Erasmus University Rotterdam. They also completed a Master's in Health Sciences and have held leadership roles, including serving as the chair of the Juniorkamer bestuur at the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Cardiologie. Vivan is currently a MedicALS Instructor Candidate with Stichting Advanced Life Support Groep.
