Wouter de Wilde has extensive experience in clinical perfusion, having worked at Erasmus MC from August 2011 to September 2015, starting as an Aspirant Klinisch Perfusionist and progressing to Erkend Klinisch Perfusionist, focusing on maintaining blood circulation and extracorporeal oxygen exchange during surgeries. Following this, Wouter served as a Klinisch Perfusionist at AMC - Academic Medical Center from October 2015 to May 2016, where responsibilities included ECC, ECLS, IABP, and Impella support. Currently, Wouter is employed as a Kardiotechniker at Insel Gruppe since May 2023. Educational qualifications include an Aspirant Klinisch Perfusionist degree from Universiteit Leiden (2011-2015) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology and Medical Laboratory Research from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (2007-2011).
