Ali Ahmed is an experienced power system engineer currently serving as a Network Power System Model Engineer-III at ERCOT since January 2024. Prior to this role, Ali held positions as a Power System Engineer at 2B Operating Petroleum Company from March 2018 to February 2024 and at Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company (GNPOC) from March 2015 to March 2018. Ali holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering obtained from Sudan University of Science and Technology between March 2021 and March 2023, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Power and Machines earned from the same institution from November 2007 to December 2012.
