Austin Rosel

Austin Rosel has an extensive work experience in the energy industry. Austin started their career at ERCOT in 2005 as an Analyst in Retail/Wholesale Electricity. Austin worked in this role until 2009 when they joined PNM Resources as a Senior Pricing Analyst. In 2010, Austin returned to ERCOT and held various roles including Lead Settlements Analyst, Supervisor of Business Intelligence and Analytics, Senior Market Analyst, and Manager of Settlement Services. Currently, they serve as the Director of Settlements, Retail & Credit at ERCOT.

Austin Rosel has a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed Wilderness First Aid from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in October 2018, and they have also obtained the SAS Base Programmer certification from SAS.
