Edward Johnson

Edward Johnson is an accomplished Information Technology Architect with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as an IT Architect Lead at ERCOT since October 2022, Johnson focuses on developing resilient enterprise systems to enhance the Texas power grid. Additionally, in the U.S. Navy Reserve, Johnson holds the position of Unit Operations Officer while also leading communications efforts at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Johnson’s prior roles include significant positions at AT&T, where expertise in cloud engineering, systems engineering, and technical architecture led to major cost savings and operational improvements. With a robust educational background in Information Technology and Security, Johnson has consistently demonstrated leadership and technical proficiency throughout a distinguished career spanning over three decades.
