Eric Meier

Eric Meier is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience at ERCOT since June 2017, where current responsibilities include supervising a team of engineers focused on operations modeling and tool development. Eric has progressed through various roles in model administration, notably leading significant projects such as the System Protection Working Group's future year case build and contributing to the development of GIC models, significantly reducing build time. Eric's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Texas Executive Education Certificate in Managerial Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to current advisory roles at Texas State University and Bismarck State College, Eric has prior internship experience focused on distribution planning and asset management with The United Illuminating Company.
