Gordon Drake

Gordon Drake currently serves as the Director of Market Design & Analysis at ERCOT since March 2024. Prior to this role, Gordon was the Energy Transition Leader in Global Infrastructure Advisory at KPMG Canada from September 2022 to February 2024. Gordon's extensive experience also includes a long tenure at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) from May 2006 to September 2022, where various positions were held, including Senior Manager of Business Architecture & Analysis, Manager of Business Analysis Services, and several supervisory roles in market development and analysis. Gordon began his career as a Senior Associate at High Park Group from January 2005 to May 2006. Educationally, Gordon earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, completing studies from 1999 to 2004, and graduated from Crescent School in 1999.
