Hailu Ted

Hailu Ted has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Hailu started their career in 1985 as a Distribution Design Engineer at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. In 1994, they joined Austin Energy as a Distribution Design Manager and later became a Regulatory Affairs Consulting Engineer. In 2000, they joined ERCOT as a Client Relations Manager and gradually worked their way up to become the Director of Client Services. Throughout their tenure at ERCOT, they held various roles, including Market Participant Training Project Manager and Market Training Manager. Hailu Ted's expertise lies in client services, market training, and regulatory affairs.

Hailu Ted obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, from 1982 to 1985. Hailu then pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Power Systems from the University of Southern California, from 1989 to 1993.
