James Laware

James LaWare has extensive experience in IT and software development, currently serving as Release Analyst Lead at ERCOT since October 2016, where previous roles included Senior Release Analyst and Senior Change and Configuration Coordinator. Prior to ERCOT, James worked as a Change and Configuration Coordinator for Allied Consultants and held various positions in software engineering and development at Dell, Level 3 Communications, and Broadwing Communications. James began a career in technology as an IT Consultant at Halliburton after working as a Field Geophysicist at Schlumberger. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
