Jason Rushing is an experienced Information Technology professional with a strong background in auditing and networking. Currently serving as an Information Technology Internal Auditor at ERCOT since November 2023, Jason previously held the position of Senior Information Technology Auditor at Charles Schwab from March 2022 to October 2023. Jason's audit expertise was developed during two tenures at ERCOT and Dell, where responsibilities included assessing security controls for various technologies and identifying flaws for remediation. Early in the career, experience included roles as a Network Technician at aWhere, Inc., and a Company Network Administrator in the United States Marine Corps, where Jason managed network operations and supported communication platforms. Jason holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Imperial Valley College.
