Kim R. is a seasoned legal and regulatory professional with a diverse background in energy market policy and client representation. Currently serving as Legal/Regulatory Corporate Counsel at ERCOT since April 2022, Kim previously held the role of ERCOT Regulatory Manager at LCRA from September 2020 to April 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Attorney for the Environmental Defense Fund, focusing on energy market policy, and serving as a Research Attorney and Associate Attorney with Research Analysis & Writing and David Van Os & Associates, respectively. Additionally, Kim has experience in advocacy and research from internships at Public Citizen, where key projects involved Texas utility deregulation and appeals related to TCEQ decisions. Kim holds a JD from The University of Texas School of Law and a BA with High Honors in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
