Mark Scarborough has over 30 years of experience in system administration and storage management, with a strong focus on SAN administration. Currently serving as a Supervisor and Senior SAN Administrator at ERCOT since February 2008, Mark manages approximately 4 PB of Hitachi VSP/AMS and EMC Symmetrix storage systems, along with various SAN switches. Prior experience includes Senior Unix Administrator roles at Level 3 Communications and Broadwing Communications, where responsibilities included SAN and Unix systems administration. Mark also held positions as Unix Admin at Texas Education Network and System Administrator at Fisher Rosemount, along with System Manager roles at the Texas Department of Transportation. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Abilene Christian University.
