Matt Mereness, with a BS in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, has held various roles in the energy industry. Starting in 1995 at TransEnergy as a Technical Implementation Manager, Matt has since worked their way up to Senior Director of Market Operations & Implementation at ERCOT, where Matt has been since January 2003. With experience in compliance, day-ahead market management, and technical implementation, Matt has a well-rounded background in the energy sector.
