Neil Quast

Neil Quast is an experienced professional in the nuclear industry, currently serving as the ERCOT Senior Weatherization Inspector since November 2022. Prior to this role, Neil worked at South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company as a Licensed Reactor Operator from June 2015 to November 2022. Neil also held the position of Operations Instructor at Entergy - Vermont Yankee from July 2011 to January 2015, where responsibilities included developing federally regulated training programs for nuclear plant operators and integrating lessons learned from operational events into training modules. Neil's career began in the US Navy, where Neil was a Nuclear Reactor Operator from October 2000 to March 2011, notably serving on the USS MEMPHIS (SSN 691) and achieving significant efficiency improvements in maintenance operations.
