Riaz Khan

Riaz Khan has extensive experience in engineering and analysis, currently serving as a Planning Engineer at NYISO since August 2018, following roles as a Planning Analyst and Associate Planning Analyst. Prior to this, Riaz worked as a Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at South Dakota State University from August 2014 to May 2018. An internship as an Electric Distribution System Data Analyst took place at the City of Palo Alto in the summer of 2017. Early career positions included Assistant Engineer roles at the Bangladesh Water Development Board from July 2012 to July 2014 and Energypac Engineering from December 2011 to July 2012. Riaz holds two Master’s degrees from South Dakota State University in Statistics (2016-2018) and Electrical Engineering (2014-2016), as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2005-2011).
