Sathyanarayan Krishnan is a highly experienced Grid & Market Solutions Engineer serving as a Technical Lead at ERCOT since July 2021. Prior to this role, Sathyanarayan worked at Siemens from June 2014 to July 2021, where responsibilities included leading the delivery of Real-Time Electric Grid control solutions to Independent System Operators (ISOs) and energy utilities, along with developing software for Real-Time Energy Management Systems (EMS). Sathyanarayan began the professional journey as a Power Engineer Intern in the Electric Energy Markets team. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Velammal Engineering College (2009-2013).
