Ying Li

Ying Li is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Since July 2009, Ying Li has served at ERCOT, currently holding the position of Lead Planning Engineer, responsible for leading independent reviews of transmission projects and conducting special transmission studies. Prior to this role, Ying Li worked as a Senior Market Analyst at Midwest ISO from April 2005 to July 2009, performing statistical analyses of market operations and producing reports for management. Ying Li's career began as a System Testing Analyst at Adecco Technical, where responsibilities included system interface testing for energy market projects. Ying Li holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, as well as double Master's degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Statistics from Iowa State University.
