Representing New Zealand's leading electricity retailers - Contact Energy, Genesis Energy, Manawa Energy, Mercury, Meridian Energy, and Nova Energy (and their sub-brands) - ERGANZ is dedicated to delivering positive outcomes for electricity consumers, promoting efficient market structures, and building a sustainable future for Aotearoa.

🏠 Serving Kiwi homes and businesses, our collective membership sells electricity to around 90% of New Zealand's homes and businesses.

🌱 Our mission: Advocate for an efficient energy market, deliver positive outcomes for consumers, and champion electricity as the driver for New Zealand's zero-emissions future.

🔍 Day-to-day, we prioritise activities that promote consumer well-being and deepen understanding of the electricity sector, from energy-saving tips to highlighting what developments Kiwis can expect as we move towards a zero emissions future.

🤝 We actively engage with government officials, community groups, and industry stakeholders to shape policy, provide targeted support, and drive initiatives that benefit consumers.

💡 Our programmes, like the EnergyMate initiative and the low-fixed charge Power Credits scheme, provide practical assistance to families in need and promote affordability in the transition to cleaner energy.
