Julius Abs has extensive experience in the insurance and risk management sector, currently serving as the Head of Motor Pricing & Steering and the Head of Products & Underwriting Retail for Global P&C at ERGO Group AG since September 2019. Prior to this role, Julius worked at Munich Re (Group) from May 2015 to August 2019, where responsibilities included underwriting Green Tech Solutions and engaging in risk assessment and insurance structuring for renewable energy projects. Early career roles included positions in risk management and environmental risk at Re Centre and Climate Risk Pty Ltd, as well as research and intern roles at renowned institutions such as Fraunhofer ISI and AUDI AG. Julius holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, complemented by an academic exchange year at Linköping University.
