Mark Heidebrecht has provided forensic and expert witness services in the areas of biomechanics, human factors, ergonomics, and work physiology.  As an expert witness, he has testified in over 110 state and federal court cases and presented testimony at the Federal OSHA hearing regarding the National Ergonomic Standard. 

Mark is certified a Certified Human Factors Professional and is a BCPE Ambassador.  He is also board certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Board Certified Exercise Physiologist.  Mr. Heidebrecht has over 30 years of experience working in the fields of ergonomics, biomechanics, human factors, and work physiology.  Mark has developed numerous ergonomic analysis software and motion analysis equipment and holds two U.S. patents for his epidemiology-based software program. He developed, and has instructed, a preparatory course since 1998 for professionals pursuing certification by the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE).  
 
In 2000, Mark presented to the National Academy of Science and is listed as a contributor to the National Academy of Science publication, Musculoskeletal Disorders and the Workplace.  He was a member of the SAE International Aerospace Standards AS 6228A Committee, Safety Requirements for Procurement, Maintenance and Use of Hand-Held Powered Tools.  He is currently a member of the SAE EG-1B1 Power Tools - Productivity, Ergonomics and Safety Committee.  Mark has presented throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. His expertise includes the development and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, the implementation of ergonomic risk reduction processes, biomechanics and human factors analysis, physical demand analysis, job matching, work physiology, and job specific functional testing.  

He has work across all industries and has extensive experience working in the food processing industry.
